Apprenticeships generally have entry requirements. However, every vacancy will be different. Depending on the type or level of apprenticeship, there will be different qualifications and skills required. You should be able to find these on the job description or advert.
You may be asked to have GCSEs in English and Maths at grades 9 to 4. If you don't have these grades, you may be required to undertake English and Maths (GCSE or Functional Skills) as part of your apprenticeship.
If you're concerned about meeting the minimum requirements, talk to the training provider, whose details should be included on the job advert. They will be able to advise if there is any flexibility with the entry requirements.
