I have lost, forgotten or not received my login details - what should I do?

If you have not ever logged into your KentChoices account, you can either get in touch with us or book a telephone appointment with one of our team.

If you have logged into your KentChoices account before and registered an email address, you can use the 'Forgot your password?' or 'Forgot your username?' options (or both) to retrieve your details. This will trigger an instant email from eProspectus/KentChoices where you can retrieve your details. If you do not receive instantly, please check your junk, spam or trash folder. If you still do not receive your details, you can either get in touch with us or book a telephone appointment with one of our team.

I have been locked out of my account - how do I get this unlocked?

If you have entered your log in information incorrectly five times or more, you will be locked out. If this happens, you can ask your school to unlock this for you or get in touch with us or book a telephone appointment with one of our team.

I do not attend a Kent school or pupil referral unit, how can I use KentChoices?

You can self-register for an account if you live outside Kent, attend an independent school or are currently being educated at home. Follow the Self-Register Guide to learn how to self-register. 

I am not sure what I need to do and would like some help and guidance with this site? 

You can use our guides to help you using KentChoices. Alternatively you can either get in touch with us or book a telephone appointment with one of our team. 

What should I enter in the Qualification section of my profile template now that exams are cancelled?

You need to add predicted grades in order to send your applications. It is complicated this year following the recent announcement cancelling GCSE exams. We are waiting to hear how they will now be assessed. If you need to apply now, we suggest that you use the latest predicted grades given to you by your school or use your last school report as a guide. As more information is provided by the government following the current consultation with schools, we will amend our advice.

Is there a limit to the number of applications I can make and send? 

You can apply up to eight. We recommend that you make two applications, but no more than five.

Why can't I apply for some courses?

You can only apply for courses if applications are open for the school, college or training provider. To check any open or close dates for these, please see their information pages. 

I have 'withdrawn' my application, what do I do?

You can either get in touch with us or book a telephone appointment with one of our team and we can return the application to you to resubmit. 

How do I access my messages on my KentChoices account?

You will receive an email alert from eProspectus/KentChoices whenever your application has been acknowledged, offered a place or you have a message regarding your application. In the email alert there will be a link to click which will take you to the KentChoices website, where you can log in to your account to view or action the message. You can find the Messaging Centre in the Tools section of your account. 

How do I search for courses?

You can search for courses by clicking the Full-time Courses box on the front page of the website or by clicking courses in the menu options at the top of the page. You can search by course or subject name, by school, college or training provider, by sector or by qualification using the relevant boxes. Add any courses that you are interested in applying for your 'Favourites'. 

What happens next?

Make sure that you check your emails for alerts from eProspectus/KentChoices as schools and colleges will likely contact you via KentChoices. Also check your personal and school email address for direct messages from them. Messages will contain important information relating to your application, such as virtual interview details, a link to book an interview or request for further information - so make sure you check these as soon as possible and follow any instructions. It is a good idea to share any messages with your parent/carer(s). 

How do I update my contact details/email address?

If you have not sent any applications, you can update your Profile Template. 

If you have sent applications, the place you have applied to will need to have this new information. Ask your school to update your account - this way the new information will automatically be transferred to them. If that is not possible you can also book a telephone appointment with one of our team and we can do this with you.
