I have been offered something else?
If you are under 18 years old, have been offered to do something else and thinking of leaving your current institution, please contact us first. For example, you could be at college, but now been offered an apprenticeship and want to change what you're doing. There is nothing wrong with you changing what you're doing, but it is important to not keep changing your mind and complete a course. But we understand that sometimes opportunities don't come up at the same time, for example not all apprenticeships are advised or start in September. We just need to know what you're doing and we can check for you that what you're planning to do next meets the Raising the Participation Age (RPA) legislation.
Phone us on 03000 419 174, Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm.
You have to be in education or training until your 18th birthday.
