Hey, it looks like you're new! Why not discover the benefits of KentChoices.

Latest Updates

These are unprecedented times and there is much uncertainty, but it is important that you still think about your future plans.  Although schools are currently closed, they will reopen and there are still people in the schools and colleges working hard to make sure that when they do, things will move smoothly.

How qualifications will be graded is still to be confirmed, but more information will follow shortly.  In the meantime if you:

  • are awaiting or holding offers for school sixth forms you are encouraged not to panic.  Schools are awaiting further guidance and will update students via school websites or by email when more information is available;
  • have an interview planned at a school or college, then they will be in touch.  Check your email accounts for information.  There are more specific notes about each college below and
  • haven’t yet made any plans, you should still apply to the school or college of your choice, but you will need to look on either Kentchoices.com or school websites (at this time probably best to look at both) to check that you either haven’t missed the deadline and that based on previous information from your school you meet the entry requirements.  Those schools and colleges who are still open for applications will want to hear from you.

Year 11 college Interviews during the Coronavirus period

In order to reassure students who have applied to colleges for September 2020 and either have an interview arranged or are waiting for an appointment, they have asked us to let you know that you will not be overlooked.  Each college is making contingency plans and will be in touch with applicants.  In each case they have asked applicants to check the email account they used to apply for further information.  Below is a brief summary of the current arrangements.

This is accurate as 20th March 2020 and things may change in the future.

Until then, we hope that you stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you into our College as soon as possible.
