Overview

Our Level 3 Professional Chefs course is intended for those with culinary skills who wish to hone and develop them. You will gain further practical experience within our kitchens as well as one of our commercial kitchens for our fine-dining restaurants. The course is intended for those wishing to become professional chefs. You will learn through a combination of advanced theory, practical tasks, industry placement and educational visits. You will have the opportunity for recipe development and food pairing combinations and gastronomy. Your work in the kitchen will be observed and assessed. You will undertake assignments and unit tests to establish your learning at this level.

Entry requirements

Five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English and maths at grade C/4 or above.

Successful completion of the course will lead to excellent job prospects in hospitality and catering. You could become a development chef for a food retailer and further study could lead to a career in health and nutrition.
