Overview
Graphical Communications is a creative and personal subject which will require you to be innovative and expressive. It will provide you with lots of challenges and design briefs, which you will need to fulfil. This course will enable you to build a portfolio of work, which will help you apply for university to pursue a Graphics or Fine Art course.
Whilst studying Graphics you will be creating individual responses and learn a range of new skills and developing a professional practice. This includes the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, Wacom tablets and Photography as well as more traditional methods. This is a two year A Level course.

How will it be delivered?
On the course students are expected to be self-directed and to develop their own theme to explore. During their coursework they will further develop and improve their practical skills in relation to their chosen area of study. Alongside the critical research they do, students will write an extended essay of 3000 words which link to the student’s own practical investigations. This is marked separately and forms the coursework component.
