Overview
This course is intellectually demanding and only students who have proven ability at GCSE level are likely to make the transition to A Level study successfully. The majority of students who apply to study A Level Mathematics are expected to continue onto a higher education degree course. A Level Mathematics is an essential requirement for all Engineering, Accountancy and most Science and Business degree courses, as well as IT courses and Economics

How will it be delivered?
You will be examined by final written examinations at the end of year 13.
All exams include: Pure Mathematics 1, Pure Mathematics 2 and Statistics and Mechanics, They are all equally weighted.
AS students are assessed on the same content but at an AS level.
Entry requirements
- 5+ GCSEs 9-4
- Grade 8 in Mathematics and 80% on core number and algebra test set in week 1
