Business is one the most popular BTEC Level 3 courses. The qualification will help you succeed in your future, no matter what you choose to go on and do. BTEC Foundation Diploma (2 year course) - Equivalent in size to one and half A Levels.
Unit 1: Exploring Business, Unit 2: Delivering a Marketing Campaign, Unit 3: Personal and Business Finance, Unit 4: Managing an Event, Unit 8: Recruitment and Selection Process, Unit 21: Training & Development.
BTEC Diploma (2 year course) - Equivalent in size to two A levels.
Unit 1: Exploring Business, Unit 2: Developing a Marketing Campaign, Unit 3, Personal and Business Finance, Unit 4: Managing an Event, Unit 5: International Business, Unit 6: Principles of Management, Unit 8: Recruitment and Selection Process, Unit 21: Training & Development.
The BTEC Foundation Diploma consists of six units, four of which are mandatory and two are external.
Mandatory content 59% and external assessment 41%.
To be accepted onto this course, students should have at least 5 GCSE's at Grade 4. Strong literacy and numeracy skills are essential and it is preferable (although not a requirement) that students will have previously studied Business or Enterprise at Level 2.
