Overview
The CEFS qualification is designed to help individuals understand finances and the influence that they have on everyday life. Essential topics such as debt, loans, credit cards and budgeting are covered to give individuals the confidence to make important financial decisions. The course is graded A*-E.
The Diploma in Financial Studies (DIPFS) carries on in the second year and is an A2 equivalent. The qualification is designed to help individuals make financial plans for the future; understand financial services from the provider’s perspective and enhance their financial capabilities. The course covers essential topics such as product mix, cash flow, product development, product positioning, factors influencing the marketplace, corporate success criteria, stakeholder’s perceptions and effects on the environment.
There are 2 units. Unit 1 is called Sustainability of an Individual’s Finances and unit 2 is called Sustainability of the Financial Services System.
