A combination of internal and external assessment is used to determine the final grade.

This course gives an overview and insight into some of the techniques and tools used within Foresic Science. It also includes studying core sciences to underpin the specialist knowledge. You will study a range of units that may in genetics, forensic evidence collection and analysis, forensic fire investigation and chemistry.

GCSE Combined science: Minimum of 4 5

Separate GCSE science: Minimun of 5 in one of the separate sciences

You may progress to Higher Education, employment or apprenticeship. This course is suitable for further studies and investigation, crime scence investigation, criminal psychology, crininology and policing studies.
