Overview

The course involves an in depth analysis of key geographical issues related to the 21st Century and highlighted daily within the media. Candidates will be expected to investigate the nature of physical and human environments.

There is a required residential field trip element to the course. This assists with the completion of the Unit 4 Independent investigation.

There are four units, three are assessed by external examination.

 

Entry requirements

Overall requirement for Post 16:

5 A* - C at GCSE (English and mathematics grade 4). Max 2 BTECs at merit can count.

B in geography GCSE
