Overview
This qualification aims to:
Teach you to manage the day-to-day but tricky challenges of business, such as supply chain management, customer communication, financial control, and future growth planning and performance analysis. As well as running your business you will have a substantial work placement, where you will be given a project to manage and will develop your employability skills.

Mandatory Units
Unit 1 The business Enterprise Environment
Unit 2 researching a concept for a new or revised product or service
Unit 3 promoting an enterprise idea
Unit 4 Planning and pitching an enterprise idea
How will it be delivered?
The corse consits of externally examined units and internal assessed coursework units. The units will depend on the specialism chosen to deliver to teh cohort of learners.
Entry requirements
We would recommend at least a grade 3 at GCSE in English and a Level 2 qualification preferably in BTEC.

At the end of the course you may wish to run and expand your micro-business, or go onto further study at University or you may wish to move into employment or a Higher Apprenticeship – all of these are possible and within your reach within a maximum of two years
