Unit 3 : Professional Development in the Sports Industry

Unit 4: Application of Fitness testing

How will it be delivered?

Unit 1: External exam (1h 30 m, 33.3%)

Unit 2 : Externally assessed written task (2h 30m, 33.3%)

Unit 3: Internally assessed portfolio (16.7%)

Unit 4 : Internally assessed portfolio (16.7%)

Entry requirements

GCSE Physical Education grade 6 or BTEC Sport Level 2 Merit (or GCSE Combined Science grade 6-6 if not studied)

Successful BTEC Sport students will have a strong interest in sport and will be involved in sports in their leisure time. Students will need to be independent learners, who are highly motivated and good at working to deadlines. Strong understanding of biology is essential.
