Overview
This course provides students with another opportunity to secure a grade 4 in GCSE Mathematics. All students on the course will study the new GCSE specification introduced for first examination in the 2016/2017 school year, regardless of any previous attempts. The exam board is Edexcel.
The course will cover the same topics that the students studied for in the May/June 2018 exams. There will be 3 exams to take in May/June 2019.
The students will be supported in their learning to attempt to fill in knowledge gaps highlighted in previous exam attempts. The different topics are sectioned as number, ratio and proportion, shape and space, data handling and algebra.
