This dynamic course will challenge you creatively, physically, emotionally and intellectually. It will provide you with an understanding of dance with a focus on the essential skills, techniques and disciplines needed for a career in the dancing profession. Your lessons will take place in a large mirrored dance studio. Our residential aerial tutor will also teach you skills on silks, static trapeze, cocoon, rope and hoop. You will have the opportunity to perform in front of a sell-out audience at our annual dance showcase. We have established links with the International Dance Company ‘Jasmin Vardimon’. We have visited their space, watched rehearsals, completed work experience at the company, taken part in creative projects and interviewed staff to support unit 1 work. This link is unique and opens up exciting opportunities for our dancers. Since 2017, 100% of students achieved a M - D* in Dance.
