The A level Physics course is
designed to build on your GCSE work and explore new areas. Physicists explore the fundamental nature of almost everything we
know of. They probe, the furthest
reaches of the earth to study the smallest pieces of matter. Join them to enter a world deep beneath the surface of normal human experience.
You have a passion for physics and
want to take your GCSE knowledge further. You want to know more about particles and explore how physics is used in the real world.
How will it be delivered?
AS Physics 2 x 1 ½ hour papers,
each 70 marks and worth 50% of AS.
A level Physics 3 written exams:
Paper 1: 2 hours, 85 marks, 34% of A-level
Paper 2: 2 hours, 85 marks, 34% of A-level
Paper 3: 2 hours, 80 marks, 32% of A-level
5 Grade 4-9 GCSEs
Grade 5-6 in GCSE Trilogy
Science or Grade 6 in GCSE
Grade 5-9 in English & Maths
