UAL L4 Foundation Diploma in Graphic Design

The Level 4 Graphic Design and Illustration Foundation Studies programme will allow you to stretch and challenge your existing knowledge to a higher, more professional standard. Looking at key areas such as Visual communication, illustration, advertising, branding & packaging Adobe software skills, self-promotion, typography & editorial, photography and much more. There is a big emphasis on live briefs and working with employers to get you used to functioning within real world circumstances. You�ll be working in a studio of like-minded creative with access to industry standard software and hardware such as Adobe CC Suite, large format printers, photography studios (both digital and non-digital), 3D studios, Screen-printing studios, 3D printers, laser-cutter, Mac based studios and a large open plan workspace for independent study. Our Study Programme includes opportunities for you to develop your English and Maths skills as required. You may be expected to complete either functional skills or GCSE qualifications as part of your course depending on your GCSE results.
