Overview
This highly practical course is an ideal starting point for those students with few formal qualifications. Covering the basics of handling, feeding and the setting up of accommodation for a wide range of species including aquatic and farm animals. These skills are learnt in our custom-built Animal Management Unit and the Fisheries Hatchery.
How will it be delivered?
Teaching is a mix of theory and practical sessions. When a practical session occurs this will be supported with a Technical Instructor. Assessment will be via practical and theory assessments sat throughout the year programme.
