Overview
This course has a mixture of practical and theory and is delivered making use of the excellent Agricultural facilities including farms, dairy and workshops. Students are able to access a range of additional learning support, based on need and are well supported through the use of virtual learning resources. A range of employability skills will be developed whilst on the course including practical skills, communication, and land-based specific knowledge, and development of ICT skills. Students will also get the opportunity to carry out work experience on external placements.
How will it be delivered?
Students will be assessed throughout the course using assignments, projects, practical tests, exams and external assessments. Students are encouraged to relate theory to practice in all assessments.
Entry requirements
Minimum of 4 GCSEs grades A*- C / 9 - 4 or equivalent (Level 2 Diploma), which must include GCSEs in English AND maths A*- C / 9 4 Grade or equivalent (Level 2 Functional Skills) plus a Science A*- C / 9 4 Grade.

Completion of this qualification will allow you to progress onto Apprenticeships or a higher qualification including HND, BSc (Hons) International Agriculture or BSc (Hons) Agriculture at Hadlow College.
