You will learn about the culture of French speaking countries, which will allow you to develop an understanding of your own culture too, whilst broadening your horizons. There will be opportunities to study abroad and to work with professionals who use their language skills on a day to day basis.

How will it be delivered?

The A Level French course is assessed at the end of year 2, with exams in Speaking, Listening, Reading and writing. There are elements of Translation from English to French in the Writing paper in addition to translation from French to English in the reading exam.
