The UK Work Experience Programme is for students looking for a work experience placement with a leading global bank. The programme provides opportunities to gain some hands-on experience, develop your knowledge of banking and financial services, and explore the careers available at HSBC in the UK. The programme will run hybrid model, 2 days in person & 3 days virtually.

Our programme will provide you with an insight into what it is like to work for a global bank, and help you to decide your future career options.

Over the course of the programme, we typically offer:

Hands on work experience

Develop skills and grow confidence

Hints and tips on how to be successful during selection processes

Opportunities to meet a range of HSBC employees and ask as many questions as you want to help you understand what working for HSBC is like and your potential future ambitions

Age Group

14 - 19 years old

Requirements

To be considered for the programme, you will:

Be in full-time education either at secondary school, sixth form or college at the time of the work experience commencing

Be keen and motivated to find out more about HSBC and to be prepared to complete the application process, which will include an online assessment and if successful, a telephone interview
