The adult education budget funds qualifications for learners over the age 19. It's a government programme accessible by both employers and individual learners covering a wide range of training. Any UK adult over 19 years old, who has not got a qualification higher than a level 2 or who are unemployed or a low wage of £18,000 a year or less can access this fund. In some cases if you do not meet the latter you may find the course can be co-funded and our admissions team will go over the criteria to ensure you qualify during the Initial Advice and Guidance call and induction.

Course Summary

This course is for anyone who is passionate about becoming a Nail Technician and has been seeking the opportunity to be able to train for free. You might want to work in a salon or

you might be looking to launch your own business venture but feel overwhelmed about kick-starting it.

Course Details

Classroom based learning 2 days and 1 day home study with guided support

The units you will learn as part of the Nail Services Diploma

  • Ensure responsibility for actions to reduce risks to health and safety
  • Fulfil salon reception duties
  • Develop and maintain effectiveness at work
  • Promote additional services or products to customers
  • Provide manicure services
  • Provide pedicure services
  • Carry out nail art services
  • Apply and maintain nail enhancements to create a natural finish

You will receive a full schedule once you have been inducted by our admission team which will tell you in detail what will be covered and when.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

The course will be assessed by unit exams, assignments and practical activities.
