Course Summary

This qualification is for those looking to enter the Plastering trade and is designed for achievement in a training environment, which means you do not need to have experience or be employed to undertake this qualification.

Location: Civil Engineering Centre, Island Road, Hersden, Canterbury CT3 4FU

You will be required to wear PPE in the workshop environment. PPE will be provided to candidates eligible for bursary support.

Course Details

During the course, learners will gain knowledge and skills in a range of mandatory units including:

  • Applying Plaster to Internal Surfaces
  • Applying Render to External Surfaces
  • Construction Health and Safety
  • Preparing Background Surfaces for Plasterwork

How will it be delivered and assessed?

This is an 8 week programme, with attendance required 4 days per week. The content is a mix of theory and practical work.

Entry requirements

Candidates must be aged 19+ to enrol on this qualification, and have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years (exceptions apply).
