Welcome to KentChoices, a website with plenty of post 16 opportunities for young people aged 16 to 19 to discover.
You can search and apply for full-time courses at sixth forms or colleges, short term courses with local training providers, or even an apprenticeship. As well as this there are tons of videos and information to help support you with making your decision.
If you're in year 11, in early November your school will supply your login details and they will also help you with the use of the website. If you are not in year 11 or don't have an account, you can still view our website and the information on it. To apply for courses on KentChoices, all you have to do is:
1. Set up your profile.
2. Start favoriting courses that you have an interest in and start applying for them.
3. Check your message box for any communication from the place of interest, you might be asked to discuss your application with them.
4. Wait to see if you received an offer from the place of interest.
5. Wait patiently until August to receive your GCSE results, your GCSE results could determine whether you get your place.
If you have any questions about using KentChoices or your account you can get in touch with the KentChoices team. You can either fill in the 'get in touch' form, give us a call, or check out our how-to guides and our frequently asked questions.
It's okay if you're unsure of what you want to do after year 11, or what you want to study. In the first instance we would encourage you to talk to your careers adviser at school but you are always welcome to talk to us too here at The Education People. It is best to start applying early to avoid disappointment, so good luck with your applications and ask for help if you need it.
