You can accept as many offers as you like. Although, please note - the following exceptions:-
- EKC Group - You can only accept one offer across the whole group (Ashford, Broadstairs, Canterbury, Dover, Folkestone or Sheppey Colleges).
- North Kent Colleges - You can only accept one offer across the different campuses (Dartford, Gravesend, Hadlow and Tonbridge).
If you decide you no longer wish to take up an offer, please decline the place and let the school or college know as soon as possible.
Our quick video guide shown above will give you step by step instructions on how to preference your applications.
If you have applied direct to a sixth form or college, no further action is needed on KentChoices.
Don't worry if you have not had your interview or received an offer yet. Sixth Forms and Colleges do receive a large number of applications, so please give them until May to make these. You can still preference your applications on the system.
If you have applied direct to sixth forms or colleges no further action is required on KentChoices.
However, if you have not heard back or awaiting the outcome of an interview, it’s a good idea to contact the school or college for an update.
If you've applied to a sixth form that uses Applicaa, please look out for an email regarding how to proceed, if you are unsure, please contact the school.
Yes definitely! Just in case the school or college are no longer able to run the course, or you didn’t quite meet the entry requirements.
It's much easier to find a course that you are interested in now, rather than waiting until September when most courses, sixth forms and colleges will be full and your options will limited.
Don’t panic, there is still time, but It is important that you start exploring your options now.
In the first instance ask at school as they should be able to help you. Alternatively, you can contact the:
- National Careers Service, 0800 100 900 or
- KentChoices team. We work on behalf of Kent County Council to support young people: Email KentChoices or call us on 03301 651 120 (Office hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).
If you've applied to one of the above colleges:-
- Look out for an email asking you to accept your offer
- You can only accept one offer. (If you have more than one, choose the one you would like most to do - you will have the option to change this later but this will be dependent on spaces being available)
- Haven't booked your Applicant Day yet? Log in and do that as soon as possible. (If there are no dates available don't worry, new ones are added regularly - look out for an email inviting you to book)
Please don't withdraw any applications you may wish to have as your back-up option as the college will assume you don't want to proceed with this application.
If you have applied to more than one of the above campuses on KentChoices, you can only accept one application. You can change your mind but you can only have one offer marked as accepted at any time.
If you applied to one of these colleges either using KentChoices or their own application method and are waiting for an interview or the outcome of an interview, contact:
Dartford, Gravesend and Tonbridge Campus admissions@northkent.ac.uk or 01322 629 400
Hadlow Campus admissions@northkent.ac.uk or 01732 850 551
If you have any queries regarding your application to MidKent College, please contact us using our online Enquiry Form - https://enquiry.midkent.ac.uk
If you no longer require your place, please let us know as soon as possible.
If you've used KentChoices to apply, there is no need to preference them, but do accept any you want to keep. If you do not know what you are doing in September yet, ask at your school for an update.
