What makes us different?
We support people to hear, respect and empower people with learning difficulties and/or autism.
We promote positive action to challenge negative attitudes about disability.
We work with local communities so that people with learning difficulties and/or autism become fully included and no longer segregated.
We have very small class sizes of about 8 students, that are supported by a Teacher and a Teaching Assistant. Whilst in your work placement, you are supported individually by a Work Coach. This support will slowly reduce as your confidence and independence grows.
Your work coach can support you with travel training, to and from your workplace. We can also support you to apply for bus passes and rail cards.
