A GOOD local College for Kent
Every year over 6000 students from Kent, and beyond choose Demo Provider to continue their studies and prepare for their future career.
Our sparkling £86 million Kent Campus boasts some of the best vocational training facilities in the country as well as its own fine dining restaurant, staff and student social zones and more. Our Demoland has undergone a major redevelopment costing a total of £23m to provide state-of-the-art workshops, new student social zones and more. As part of the rebuild and refurbishment, we proudly opened University Centre Demoland, providing a valuable higher education and professional training centre for Maidstone.
For over 100 years we've been providing high-quality technical training and apprenticeships in a range of subject areas.
In November 2018 Ofsted rated the College as 'Good'.
What makes us different?
It's all about you
Ofsted describe us as a 'student-centred College' where every decision, in every area of the College, is focused on how it benefits you. Your success is our success, and we'll do everything in our power to help you achieve and thrive here.
We're big
More young people choose to study with Demo Provider than any other school or training provider in Demoland. That means we've got a thriving community where students can enjoy their time at College while preparing for work. It also means we can offer a broad range of programmes to suit your needs.
We train you in simulated work environments
Yes, we have 'normal' classrooms too, but your programme with us will involve a significant amount of time in one of our simulated work environments getting to grips with the same equipment and technology that you'll find in the workplace. That means for example that our Healthcare Practitioners learn in a mock hospital ward (and, thanks to our unique partnership with organisations like Demoland Hospital and Ferla Health Care, real wards too), Graphic Designers work in fully-equipped design studios, Construction Tradespeople develop their skills in fully-equipped and spacious workshops, and Cabin Crew take to the skies in our aircraft cabin!
Our tutors have worked in the areas they teach
All of our tutors have built their careers in their subject areas before becoming teachers. That means you'll benefit from their considerable experience in the workplace, and their teaching will come to life through real-life case studies and examples of projects that they've been involved with - invaluable to help you prepare for work. They also have links back to industry, which helps us secure the very best guest speakers and experiences for our students.
Your career starts here
College is a mature environment where our goal is to help you get ready to either secure your dream job or get a place at University to keep studying. Everything we do, provide and encourage you to experience is designed with that aim, and we're single-minded in our determination to help you succeed.

Jackie was a student with us - here is her journey
I always knew that I wanted to go to University but was not sure which subjects to study. Mr Lovell my Maths teacher really inspired me in his classes and encouraged me to look into a career in advanced mathematics as he could see my potential. I have just graduated and am now a fully qualified mathematician and have also been studying teacher training. My future goal is become a Maths teacher and encourage other students
