Following this, we will write to you to confirm your provisional offer and the entry requirements required. Having met the requirements for entry, you will not be in competition with external students for a place at MGS.

Applicants from other schools:  You will be invited to attend for a meeting with a senior member of staff in February and given the opportunity to discuss your application in more detail. if your application is successful this will be followed by a letter about your admission to the school. We will, of course, write to you with the necessary details. The school offers 50 places a year to external students. The over-subscription criteria are set out in detail on the school website and in the 6th form prospectus but are based on the quality of expected GCSE predictions.
