Application Limits - You can make up to 5 applications to Colleges within the EKC Group, that is:

*Junior Colleges exist in these locations.

Please only add one course or T Level per application. At your interview, you and the tutors can discuss the best level and courses in order for you to progress.

This course is perfect for beginners who are wanting to learn new skills, perfect their hobby or start a new career.

You will learn basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical installation, and painting and decorating. You will be trained in how to use the different tools for these four trades.

Things you will learn include:

• How to fit a shelf
• Building kitchen units
• Changing door locks and handles
• Changing tap washers
• Basic plumbing fitting, e.g. unblocking waste pipes
• Wiring a plug
• Changing light sockets and switches
• Learning about consumer units
• Learning how to fill holes and general decorating

Upon completion you will receive a Level 1 Award in Construction Skills. This could lead on to other part-time courses we offer.
