You are welcome to come to Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy on Thursday 20th August after midday or on Friday 21st August to enrol if you have the entry requirements.Please bring a parent with you together with a paper copy of your GCSE results, proof of address, proof of Date of Birth (Passport or Birth Certificate) proof of immigration status (if applicable). You will still need to apply online on Applicaa

Course Summary
The BTEC National Foundation Diploma is a practical, work-related course. Students learn by carrying out two examinations and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. Students focus on particular subject area and develop a range of specialist skills and knowledge. The course also benefits from a flexible unit structure which matches content to students' interests. Possible optional units include Data modelling, Computer Games Development and Software Testing.
