This course is a vocational qualification providing science knowledge suitable for going into a science or engineering based field. BTEC Science is a course that combines theory and practical science in biology, chemistry and physics. It is made up of examined units, coursework units and practical laboratory skills.

Entry requirements
A minimum of double science grade 4.
You will need to enjoy theory and practical based science. You will need an awareness of hazards and how to handle and use equipment correctly .
