Course Summary
Business is one of the most popular BTEC Level 3 courses.
The qualification will help you succeed in your future career, no matter what you choose to go on to do. We are currently proposing to offer:
Single award (Extended Certificate) - equivalent to 1 A level
Double award (Diploma) - equivalent to 2 A levels
Course Details
BTEC Extended Certificate (2 year course) - Equivalent in size to one A Level.
- Unit 1
- Unit 2 Exam
- Unit 3 Exam
- Unit 8
BTEC National Diploma (2 year course) Equivalent in size to two A Levels.
Same units as single above, to include in addition:
- Unit 4
- Unit 5
- Unit 6 Exam
- Unit 17
How will it be delivered and assessed?
The BTEC courses consist of both coursework and external exam based units.
Entry requirements
To be accepted onto this course a student should have at least 5 GCSE's at grade 4.
Level 2 Business or equivalent is not essential but preferred.
Essay writing skills are also desirable.
