Develop your artistic skills and build a greater understanding of materials, techniques and processes when you enrol on the level 2 Extended Certificate. Taught in a professional, creative environment by a team of experienced lecturers, you will have the opportunity to experiment in a wide range of specialisms including sculpting, photography, design, textiles, digital art and more. You will also gain inspiration from visits to galleries and museums, and have the chance to showcase your own coursework at the department's end-of-term exhibition.

Four GCSEs at grade D/3 or above, including English or maths at grade D/3 or above.

Successful completion at Merit or above will enable you to access higher-level courses at the College such as the level 3 Diploma in Art & Design or Media Production. From there you will be just one step away from university or a career within one of the creative industries.
