Level 3 - 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or higher including English and Mathematics.

Transition - 5 GCSEs at grade 3 or higher. Either English or Mathematics must be at a grade 4.

This programme is equivalent to 3 A levels and provides direct access to university. Aimed at students interested in football and pursuing a career in teaching, coaching and sport science, etc. This course addresses both theoretical and practical aspects of the sport sciences and demands a good level of autonomy in learning.

Aimed at students interested in football and pursuing a career in teaching, coaching and sport science, etc. This course addresses both theoretical and practical aspects of the sport sciences and demands a good level of autonomy in learning.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Assessment is by a combination of coursework, integrated
assignments, external exams and practical assessments

Entry requirements

Entry Requirements You are also expected to have a keen interest and desire to pursue a career in sport, active health or fitness.

Level 3 students are expected to have completed up to five GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English and Mathematics or to have already passed the Level 2 Diploma at the Football Academy.

Level 2 students are expected to have up to five GCSEs at grade 3 or higher including English and Mathematics. Either English or Mathematics must be at a grade 4.
