Entry Requirements - A minimum of six separately identifiable GCSE subjects at grade 6 or above, OR an average of grade 6 in the best six GCSE subjects achieved
At least a grade 5 in both English and Mathematics For most subjects at A Level, a grade 6 in the subject at GCSE is required. However, for A Level Mathematics a grade 7 is required, and for Further Mathematics a grade 8 is necessary

How will it be delivered and assessed?
Component 1 Physical Geography: Written exam of 2 hours 30 minutes, 96 marks 40% of ALevel

Component 2 Human Geography:
Written exam of 2 hours 30 minutes, 96 marks 40% of ALevel o Section A: Global systems and global governance
o Section B: Changing places
o Section C: Contemporary urban environments
Component 3: Geographical investigation
Students complete an individual investigation which must include data collected in the field. The individual investigation must be based on a question or issue defined and developed by the student relating to any part of the specification content: 3,000–4,000 words/35 marks 20% of ALevel
Entry requirements
GCSE grade 6 in Geography (You will be required to complete any fieldwork requirements which are likely to involve some form of residential fieldwork at a cost.)
