Course Summary
History A-Level will help you gain an insight into how today�s world has been shaped by the past. You will study a number of topics, including the revolutions of England and France, focussing on rebellion, republic and restoration. We'll also help you develop strong academic skills in writing and analysis.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
You will be assessed by a mixture of end of year exams and coursework units.
Entry requirements
A GCSE grade 5 in English Language and grade 4 in History (if taken).

Once you have finished this course, you will have opened a wide range of doors for future study at university. You could choose to study degree subjects, such as English, archaeology, media, journalism or in the classics.
