Course Summary
HISTORY AT HOMEWOOD SCHOOL AND SIXTH FORM CENTRE COVERS A 500 YEAR TIME FRAME, INCLUDING BOTH BRITISH AND NON-BRITISH UNITS. IT AIMS TO COVER A WIDE RANGE OF HISTORICAL ASPECTS INCLUDING POLITICAL, ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND RELIGIOUS HISTORY.

- Unit 1: Y106: The Early Tudors: 1485 - 1558 (25%)
- Unit 2: Y221: Democracy and Dictatorships in Germany 1919-1963 (15%)
- Unit 3: Y318: Russia and its Rulers 1855–1964 (40%)
- Unit 4: Y100: Civil Rights in the USA (coursework) (20%)

Your next steps...
You could take this course to complement other Advanced Level courses in History which could lead onto Higher Education in History or related subjects such as English, American Studies, Politics, Law, Archaeology or more general courses.
