This course is designed to give a broad overview of the Health and Social Care sector, forming part of a programme of study including other courses offered by Dover Christ Church Academy.

The course content is divided into 6 units for the Extended Certificate and 12 unit for the Diploma.
The Extended Certificate: Building Positive Relationships, Nutrition, Anatomy and Physiology, Infection Control, Equality and Diversity, Health, safety and security
The Diploma: Promoting Health and Wellbeing, Sexual health and child development, Long term physiological conditions, Person centred care, Safeguarding, Creative activities
How will it be delivered and assessed?
You will be assessed in two different ways on this course which compromise of coursework elements and end exams that you sit in January and May.
