Tonbridge Angels is in partnership with Hugh Christie School offering a range of academic and vocational qualifications including A-Levels - BTEC 3 in Sport.

SPORT OPTIONS

BTEC Nationals Level 3 in Sport Dipolma

Units within the BTEC Courses;

Anatomy Physiology (Exam)

Fitness Training and Programming (exam)

Professional Development in the sports industry

Sports Leadership

Application of Fitness Testing

Practical Team Sports

Investing Business in the sport and active leisure industry (exam)

Skill Acquisition in sport

Rules, Regulations and Officiating in sport

Additional Qualification - Year 14 - Personal Training Course.

FOOTBALL

Students will undertake 9 hours of football training with UEFA ‘A’ Licenced coaches outside of their academic timetable and represent Tonbridge Angels Football Club in the Conference Youth Alliance League or Kent Academies League (Wednesday afternoons).

Entry requirements

Four GCSEs at Grade 4 or above including English and Maths and pass the football trial.
