Course Summary
This new course is for people who are interested in learning about the Uniformed Protective Services sector. It gives a broad basis of study that is designed to support progression to higher education as well as employment. Throughout the course as well as knowledge of the sector you will develop vital skills for use in your future regardless of the sector you intend to go into.
Course Details
The course will focus on all of the uniformed protective services and students will study the following units during the 2 years.
Unit 2 - Behaviour and Discipline in the Uniformed protective services (Externally assessed, Exam Unit)
Unit 5 - Teamwork, leadership and communication in the Uniformed Public Services
Unit 13 - Introduction to Criminology
Plus one other from;
Unit 15 - Police Powers and the Law
Unit 19 - Professional development in the Uniformed Protective Services

Entry requirements
4 GCSE grades at 9 to 4 or equivalent including English language.
