Access to Higher Education: Science

The Access to Higher Education Diploma in Combined Sciences is your gateway to applying for a degree in a Science. This course will give you the opportunity to explore a range of degrees that could lead to careers in medical, forensics or research.

You will gain a range of scientific knowledge in different areas in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Assessment will be through completing reports, presentations and exams. You will also be assessed on your key transferable skills in maths and English.

You will complete an extended scientific project to support you in the development of key research skills that will prepare you for Higher Education.

An Access to Higher Education Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification that enables you to gain entry to universities.

On successful completion of the course, you will be able to progress onto a degree in a science subject.
