English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) (Adult)

ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses are for people who have a first language other than English and who live or work in the UK. Students can be asylum-seekers, refugees or come from settled communities.

Our ESOL courses aim to enhance skills in numerous areas relating to the English language including:

• Listening
• Speaking
• Reading
• Writing
• Understanding

This course has a greater focus on building your reading skills.

ESOL students can progress through Entry Levels 1, 2 and 3, and can then progress to vocational College courses or further ESOL study at Levels 1 and 2.
