Course Summary

An essential qualification if you want to go on to further study, and a basic requirement for many jobs, this course will enable you to develop your abilities in reading, understanding and analysing text as well as exploring creative writing.

Course Details

GCSE English is designed to enable students of all abilities to develop the skills they need to read, understand and analyse a wide range of different texts during the 19th, 20th and 21st century time periods.

This course will also teach you how to write clearly, coherently and accurately using a range of vocabulary and sentence structures.

Speaking and Listening is also a key part of our GCSE English course, in which advice will be given on delivering presentations.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

You will complete two final exams at the end of the year. There are also speaking and listening assignments throughout the course of the year.

When you achieve your GCSE English qualification, you will be able to attain promotion in your current industry, or switch careers if you are looking for a fresh start.
