Based in our on-site specialist workshops, you’ll explore basic techniques and practices in both the Carpentry and Joinery trades, alongside discovering key aspects of Health and Safety.

Key practices include:

• Cutting and measuring materials
• Selecting appropriate tools
• Installation using adhesives and fittings
• Proper tool storage
• Completing work to a brief
• Decorating

Alongside these, you’ll see how you can transfer your new skills to existing DIY projects and further levels of study.
