This course is designed for learners looking for a first qualification in the practical use of Sage Accounting with a view to entry into employment.

The aim of the qualification is to enable learners to operate Sage accounting software to carry out routine accounting tasks, including:

• Creating accounts
• Processing accounting information in respect of the sales and purchase ledger
• Understanding how to use batch control sheets
• Producing accounting reports such as trial balance, customer activity reports and supplier details reports

Students must pass a one-hour online exam.

This qualification will offer students a route into entry-level employment or can lead to further study within the accounting and finance field.
