Level 2 Certificate in Nail Treatment

Gain the skills required to become a professional nail technician, guided by experienced tutors in our industry-standard beauty salons. This part-time Level 2 course, designed for learners aged 19+, gives you the knowledge and practical experience needed to deliver high-quality manicure and pedicure treatments. You’ll also explore professional salon standards and client care, alongside taking part in practical sessions, client appointments and hands-on activities that reflect real salon life. As you build confidence and refine your skills, you’ll create polished, professional results, preparing you to offer new treatments to clients, taking on further study, or your first role in the industry.

Throughout the course, you will enhance the look of hands and feet using a variety of manicure and pedicure techniques. Studying with us means discovering a wide range of professional treatments and techniques, whilst you build the ability to create polished, high-quality looks. Skills gained on this course include: • Shaping nails • Moisturising • Polish application • Client care • Health and safety in the salon Most of your clients will be found in our industry-standard commercial salons. These spaces gives you genuine experience using professional equipment and products while gaining confidence in a salon environment.

All assessments are designed to ensure you can demonstrate your practical ability and understanding of professional hairdressing techniques. You’ll be assessed with practical observations in our salons whilst you work with clients. Throughout the course, you’ll also build a portfolio of your work, giving you a visual record of your progress and achievements that you can use for future opportunities.

On successful completion of the course, you could continue onto our Level 2 Nail Technology qualification. This follows on from the Nail Treatments course and will further enhance your skills. If you work in a salon, or are self-employed, you can offer a series of nail treatments to your clients. You can also look into entry-level roles in the beauty industry.
