All of our Clearing courses for 2025 are updated frequently, so please check back for the latest information, as places can fill up quickly. Remember, if you create an account or login you can save your pinned choices and apply for a course if the option is available.

Check out our GCSE clearing tool to see which school or college courses still have spaces (availability) and how to apply. Remember to keep checking for updates as these courses can fill up quickly.

Don't see the school or college you're interested in? Don't worry, it might mean they haven't updated the clearing tool yet or may not be using it. Look in your area page for a list of schools and colleges who are. There may also be local information which will be able to help you.

If the school, you are interested in isn’t using the GCSE clearing tool just use the main search to find their details and contact them directly.

Hints and tips

Here are a few tips on how to find the right course for you:

Searching by keywords

  • Start by entering a course name or keyword that you are searching for.
  • Click the 'Apply Filters' button to display the results.

Enter your postcode

  • You could also enter your postcode to refine your list with courses near you.
  • Choose how far from this location you would like to travel.
  • Click the 'Apply Filters' button to display the results.

Sorting by availability

  • You can change the sorting so it shows the high availability courses first
  • Click the 'Apply Filters' button to display the results.

Filter your search

  • Add or change your filters as often as you like to get the results you are looking for.
  • Don't forget to click 'Apply Filters'

Pin your options

  • Pin any courses you are interested in so you can easily find them again if you change your search.
  • Remember you can always unpin them if you no longer need them.
  • If you log in, your pinned courses will be saved and show on any other device you log in on.

How to apply

  • Click on a course to quickly see the entry requirements or see the full course information.
  • Depending on the settings, clicking on the green action button will display, information on what to do or a contact form or an application (you may need to login as part of the process)
