Course Summary
This qualification is designed for learners who would like to work, in a customer service role within any sector or industry. It is for students who may not be ready to embark on a Level 3 course but want to gain some employment experience and continue to study for their maths and English GCSEs.
This is a Level 2 course. The students spend three days in school each week and two days out on work experience. The days in school are mixed between maths and English resit lessons and this program.

Areas covered are:
understanding the customer
understanding the organisation
self-management
supporting the customer focused experience and
communicating with customers.
The levels are as follows:
Level 2 Customer Service
GCSE/Functional Skills – Maths
GCSE/Functional Skills – English
Level 2 Extended Project.
Two days work experience.
At the end of this course students could progress onto either a Level 3 course or an apprenticeship.
