Whether your ambition is university, an apprenticeship, further education or employment, we will help you develop a clear pathway towards your goals. Your Sixth Form experience will be about more than qualifications; it will be about discovering your strengths, developing your character and preparing to make a positive contribution to the world.

Studying at Maritime Academy's Sixth Form requires commitment, independence and a genuine desire to learn. As a full-time educational experience, students are expected to dedicate time to their studies beyond the classroom, taking ownership of their progress and developing their understanding through regular independent study. Success in Sixth Form comes from more than simply completing assigned work; it requires curiosity, self-motivation and a willingness to explore subjects in greater depth. We encourage all students to take responsibility for their learning and make the most of every opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills.

Maritime Academy's Sixth Form provides an intellectually stimulating environment where students are encouraged to question, debate and think critically. Expert teachers bring their subject knowledge and enthusiasm to lessons, inspiring students to engage actively with new ideas and challenge their own understanding. Alongside high-quality classroom teaching by teachers who have significant experience teaching KS5, students have access to a wealth of subject-specific resources and independent learning materials to help them consolidate their knowledge, broaden their perspectives and prepare confidently for the demands of Sixth Form study.

Own your tomorrow. Create your future.
