About us
The Rivermead Post 16 provides a holistic provision for 16–19-year-old learners with Special Educational/Additional Needs and Disabilities, as outlined in their Education Health and Care Plans. It consists of two classrooms – Empower16 (EPR16) and Empower+ (EPR+). Both classrooms are located at our Long Catlis Road site, in the Triple R building. While Rivermead School is primarily a specialist provider for learners with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, the Rivermead Post 16 provision supports a variety of other complex needs and multiple diagnoses.
